School Infra. structure Handover

With the support of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MoFA) Japan, Good Neighbors Japan, and Good Neighbors International Nepal, EDC Nepal constructed student-, disability-, and gender-friendly toilets, kitchens, drinking water facilities, waste pits, and school gardens in several schools of Dipayal Silgadhi Municipality—namely Dilpreshwar Secondary School (Ward No. 3), Durga Secondary School and Arunoday Basic School (Ward No. 7), and Sunadevi Secondary School in Ladagada (Ward No. 8).

These physical infrastructures were formally handed over to the respective schools in the presence of the Deputy Mayor of Dipayal Silgadhi Municipality as the chief guest, along with representatives from Good Neighbors Japan and Good Neighbors International Nepal. The handover ceremony was attended by the school community, including the Executive Director of EDC Nepal, School Management Committee members, Parent–Teacher Association representatives, teachers, and students, and was marked by various cultural performances.

From March 2025 to December 2025, in coordination with Dipayal Silgadhi Municipality, EDC Nepal implemented the project - "Advancing Nutritional Status of School Children in Doti.”
